Back in February, we shared the exciting news that Hutson Engineering Services had been entrusted with a truly remarkable commission: the creation of the world's first Gen 2 Aston Martin Vanquish fitted with a 6.5L V12 engine.
The car, a stunning high-mileage example that developed an engine fault whilst in Germany, had its engine brought to our workshop from Switzerland for a complete rebuild and bespoke upgrade.
We promised to document every step of this landmark project on our popular YouTube channel, and we're delighted to say that filming is now well and truly underway, with two episodes available to view.
And now, hot off the press, the much-anticipated next chapter has landed:
Gen 2 Aston Martin Vanquish V12 | Part 2 | Parts Inspection & Rebuild Verdict
In this latest episode, we carry out a detailed inspection of the engine's components to assess their condition after a quarter of a million miles, before delivering our verdict on exactly what lies ahead as we work towards that world-first 6.5L upgrade.
