Hutson Automotive is proud to distribute the Roadcraft Aston Martin V8 Six-Speed Manual Conversion, a high quality, fully re-engineered gearbox package built around the Tremec T56 Magnum.
Designed for the V8-powered Astons of the 1970s and 1980s, from the DBS V8 and AMV8 through to the V8 Vantage, the kit transforms how these great cars drive. Six well-spaced ratios, a modern synchromesh change and a relaxed overdrive top gear for long-distance touring.
The kit is complete & comprehensive. Everything you need is supplied, so there is no hunting for parts from Aston Martin or anywhere else.
Two versions will be available: automatic to six-speed manual (the most requested conversion), and a seemless upgrade from five-speed manual to six-speed manual, resulting in a better feel.

The kit has been engineered specifically for the classic Aston Martin V8. The gear lever sits in the correct position, and the drivetrain bolts in without compromise.

The speedometer runs from a true mechanical cable drive, so your original instruments work as Aston Martin intended, with no electronic converter box. An electronic speed sensor is also provided if you choose to upgrade your instruments later.

The T56 Magnum is the latest, strongest evolution of that gearbox. Rated to 700 lb-ft, it handles the torque of a standard V8 with ease and leaves plenty in reserve for a Hutson-built high-capacity engine.
