A World First from Hutson Engineering

We can say with some certainty that this is likely to be the highest-mileage Vanquish on the road today, having covered over 324,000 km (202,000 miles).

This stunning Aston Martin Vanquish developed an engine fault whilst in Germany, and its Swiss owner entrusted Hutson Engineering Services to not only diagnose and resolve the issue, but to deliver a bespoke 6.5-litre upgrade.

The vehicle has now been collected from a main dealer in Germany and is en route to the UK, where it will undergo a comprehensive evaluation.

The first stage of this exciting project will be a detailed engine inspection, forming part of a full series on our popular YouTube channel @AstonEngineBuilders, where we'll provide an in-depth look at the inner workings of this high-mileage V12 engine.

From there, Hutson Engineering Services will carry out a complete rebuild and upgrade, creating the world’s first Gen 2 Vanquish fitted with a 6.5L V12 engine.

Whilst in the UK, the car will also receive a full interior re-trim alongside an extensive mechanical inspection to ensure long-term durability and performance.

Once fully refreshed and enhanced, this high-specification Aston Martin GT will be ready to return to the Autobahn and cover another quarter of a million miles in style!
