V8 to X-Pack | 5.7L Upgrade | Project Completed

Hutson Engineering Services is pleased to announce the successful completion of one of our most special recent projects, a comprehensive rebuild and upgrade of an AM V8 to Vantage to X-Pack specification, with a significant capacity increase to 5.7 litres.

What makes this project particularly extraordinary is the car itself. This Aston Martin is believed to be one of only seven examples ever produced in this striking colour, with only two remaining, making it a genuinely unique piece of automotive history, and one that deserves only the finest engineering attention.

The engine arrived with us, having originally been rebuilt in the 1990s and already running to Vantage X-Pack specification. We undertook a ground-up rebuild, keeping the prestigious X-Pack specification and introducing upgrades to bring performance and durability into the modern era.

The results speak for themselves. Following completion, the engine was put through its paces on the dyno and delivered outstanding power figures, fully justifying the depth of engineering work carried out. The owner can rest assured that this unique Aston Martin is now performing at a level befitting its one-of-a-kind status.
