This AM V8 engine, rebuilt in the 1990s and upgraded to Vantage X-Pack specification, is now undergoing a comprehensive rebuild to 5.7L capacity here at Hutson Engineering Services. 

Our revised guidance to owners regarding the cylinder liner weep holes and their connection to cylinder block corrosion has once again proven successful in reducing the likelihood of future extensive cylinder block repairs.

The Vantage X-pack specification will be retained, and all "wear" components will be replaced as standard. We will also enhance the cylinder head and inlet manifold, incorporating lightweight 5.7L forged pistons, a dynamically balanced crankshaft assembly, connecting rods, and upgraded head studs. 

The project will include a comprehensive carburettor overhaul, complemented by high-quality nickel plating and painted components for durability and a high-quality finish.
