This example is a DB9 with head gasket issues; this is quite uncommon but not unheard of. To reassure the owner, we collected the engine for further assessment and to proceed with a cost-effective repair.

Whilst the cylinder heads are removed, we will carry out a detailed inspection, full de-coking, machine the head faces as required, re-seat all valves, and rebuild with new valve stem oil seals and agreed components. We will then re-fit the heads with new timing chains, gaskets and related parts, and promptly deliver the engine back to the garage for re-fitting.
